Investigators Charge A Gaylesville Man With Drug Trafficking

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Investigator’s have arrested a Gaylesville man on charges of drug trafficking. A search warrant was executed on Wednesday resulting in the arrest of  34 year old Jonathan Tucker.

In addition to charges of trafficking methamphetamine, Tucker is facing charges of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Violation  of the Sex Offender Registration Notification Act. Tucker is currently housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

Sheriff Shaver said the arrest was the result of an investigation involving the sale of illegal drugs.
