It has powers! ‘Incredibles 2’ teaser-trailer sets online record

Disney/Pixar(NEW YORK) — It’s been 14 years this month since The Incredibles debuted in theaters — and clearly, everyone’s eager to see the next chapter.

The first teaser trailer for the sequel to the Disney-Pixar animated feature had notched over 15 million views as of Tuesday morning, making it the most-viewed animated trailer ever, and the seventh overall.

The sequel to 2004’s The Incredibles — featuring the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell and Huck Milner — reportedly picks up where the first one left off. The superhero family, “still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers,” according to the film’s official plot synopsis, tries to work together again after “a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot.”

Incredibles 2 , also starring Samuel L. Jackson and John Ratzenberger, opens nationwide June 15, 2018 from Pixar and Disney, parent company of ABC News.
