Ivory Britten Covington, age 69 from Centre, passed away Monday, September 14th at his residence
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 19th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Terrell officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Survivors include two sons Roscoe Covington of Centre and Joshua Covington of Ft Payne; two daughters, Alanda (Cornell) Green and Jennifer (Michael) Terrell of Centre; brothers, Leonard of Centre and Will of Rome, GA, and Gary (Sharon) of Cedar Bluff; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Covington; brothers, James Terry, Charles, Clyde and Joe; sisters, Dorothy, Johnnie and Mary.
Mr. Covington was a native of Cherokee County, son of the late LC and Josephine Covington, he was a truck driver and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
