Jackie Chan to Receive an Honorary Oscar

VCG/VCG via Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Comic action star Jackie Chan is getting an Oscar.

The 62-year-old, Hong Kong-born martial artist and acrobat will be one of the recipients of an honorary Oscar at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 8th Annual Governors Awards in Hollywood on November 12.

Chan’s English-language film credits include the Rush Hour series of movies.

The other honorary Oscar recipients will be film editor Anne V. Coates, casting director Lynn Stalmaster and documentary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman.
