Two Calhoun County residents were arrested locally on drug charges Wednesday.
According to information posted on the official Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website the pair were booked into jail just after 2:30 that afternoon, on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Cliff Cleveland McDonald, age 56 and Christy Jo Lynn Loper, age 34 – Both from Jacksonville – remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $3,000 each.
