Jacksonville Teen Arrested For Chemical Endangerment Of A Child

A Calhoun County woman has been arrested in connection to chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Investigator Brandi Fuller says that 18 year old Amber Cambron Ward of Jacksonville was arrested and is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed, a felony.

Ward tested positive for Benzodiazepines and amphetamines. Her baby tested positive for Benzodiazepines, amphetamines and marijuana.
She is detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond for the chemical endangerment charge.

As a condition of her bond, she must successfully complete a drug treatment program and will be supervised by Etowah Community Corrections upon release. Calhoun County Department of Human Resources is involved with the case.
