James Harold “Sandy” Kines, age 81 of Centre, passed away Saturday, August 8th at his residence.
Graveside services will be 11: AM Tuesday, August 11th at Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 AM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Keasler, Wayne Clayton, Kaleb Kines, Malachi Keasler, Scott Walker, and Blake Kines.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alfretta Grace Kines; son, Blake (Tracy) Kines of Centre; daughters, Kathy Walker of Centre, Ann (Gerald) Keasler of Tampa, FL; brother, Steve (Barbara) Kines of Centre; sister-in-law, Jean Kines of SC; sisters, Carolyn Kines Clayton (Wayne) of Centre, Peggy Kines Hite; grandchildren, Kaleb (Mary) Kines of Centre, Grace Walker of Centre, Makayla Keasler of Los Angeles, CA, Malachi (Macy) Keasler of Tampa, FL; great grandson, Baylor James Kines; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Odam Kines and a brother-in-law, Robert Hite.
Mr. Kines was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Grady Ward and Hattie Lorene Odam Kines and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
