Mr. James Odell “Jack” Ray, age 86 of Centre, passed away Monday, December 16th at his residence.

Funeral services will be 1: PM Wednesday, December 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Herbert Reid officiating; burial will follow in Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11: AM until 1: PM Wednesday.

Pallbearers include Carey Tucker, Michael Weeks, Joey Hazelwood, Nick Stallings, Brad Regan, Skylar Ray.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey Louise Ragan Ray; sons, James Dennis Ray of Centre, Johnny Keith Ray of Rome, GA; daughter, Jackie Dale Casey of Rome, GA; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Ray of Centre; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Ray was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Gordon C. and Maude Barnes Ray, was retired from GE and attended Alexis Baptist Church.
