James Randall Hufstetler, age 76 of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, August 12th
Funeral services will be 1: PM Saturday C.S.T, August 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roy Thomas officiating; burial will be 12:30 EST Monday, August 20th at GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1: PM Saturday, at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Staley Duncan Hufstetler; son, Jeff Duncan of Piedmont; daughters, Angela (Brad) Smith of Jacksonville, Dennise Redford of Phoenix, AZ ; brother, Nelson Hufstetler of Sylvestre, GA; sister, Marilyn Shivers of Thomson, GA; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; special friend, Kellye Blanchard, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hufstetler was a native of Sylvestre, GA, the son of the late Victor and Ilone Aultman Hufstetler. He was retired from the US Army where he served as a Military Policeman. He was a Vietnam veteran.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Parkinson’s research.
