Jane Hood Kiser, age 81 of Sand Rock, passed away Sunday, June 5th at Cherokee Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be 4: PM Monday, June 6th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Sand Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4: PM Monday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Charles Graves, Gene Farmer, Jeff Bobo, Zach Bobo, Randall Bobo, Carl Hood.
Survivors include 1 niece, Susan Rebecca Weaver of Leesburg; 3 nephews, Edgar Ray Bobo, Jr of Green River, WY, Randall Neal Bobo of Ft. Payne, Timothy Dale Bobo of Ft. Payne; and 4 great nieces & nephews, Tina Dover, Miranda Bobo, Jeff Bobo, David Bobo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Lee Kiser; Sister, Miriam Bobo, and Brother, Max Hood.
Mrs. Kiser was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Charles Wilburn and Nell Stowe Hood, was a sewing machine operator at Centre Manufacturing Co. and was of the Methodist faith.
