John C. Williams, age 98 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, February 24th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

Pallbearers include Burk Williams, Silas Dobbs, Bob Kelley, Jimmy Morrison, Tony Mackey, Brent Tidwell, Johnny Lowe.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Turner and Ernest Jolly.

Survivors include sons, Jimmy (Connie) Williams and Johnny (Marilyn) Williams; daughter, Reita (Bob) Kelley; 4 grandchildren, Burk (Amanda) Williams, Paige (Silas) Dobbs, Jennifer Kelley, Bobby Kelley; 6 great grandchildren; several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Wilson Williams; brothers, Bernard Williams and Kenneth Williams.

Mr. Williams was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Fred Milford and Minnie Davis Williams, he was a farmer and was a member of the Centre First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre First United Methodist Church or to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

There will be a private service for the immediate family only.
