A Joint investigation with officers from Leesburg, Cedar Bluff, and Centre Police Departments concluded with the arrest of a Centre man.
According to Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum the investigation had been ongoing for several months. Leesburg Police Investigator Joe Johnson said that Cedar Bluff Officer Chris Vaughn was very instrumental in making the investigation a success.
Charles Neal of Centre has been charged with Trafficking Methamphetamines, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Fleeing/Attempting to Elude Police.
Chief Ransum said that the cooperation between the police departments of our county is vital to getting these drugs off the street.
