Kenneth Ray Coheley

In Loving Memory, Kenneth Ray Coheley, 12-24-2017

Age 81, Centre, Alabama passed away peacefully Sunday at home with his family.  He was a native of Cherokee County where he lived most of his life.  He was the son of the Late Carl and Louise O’Bryant Coheley.  He served his country in the US Navy.  He was  a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Whorton, Alabama.

With the love of cars, Kenneth started his business in 1967.  He was the owner of Coheley Brothers Auto Beauty Shop, LLC.  His reputation in the auto repair business left a legacy that folks recognized.  The business continues to operate as Coheley Body Shop.  He loved cars, fishing, and Alabama football.  He was looking forward to spending more time with his family, doing the things he loved.

He leaves behind many family and friends to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Thelma Ellen Coheley of 59 years, his daughter, Diane Coheley Brittain and her husband, Mike Brittain, his grandson and namesake, Blake Coheley Brittain (fiancee’ Megan Densmore), Jeremy (Amber) Brittain, and Julie(Adam) Lewis, along with five beautiful great-grandchildren; Avery, Landon, Austin Brittain, and Meg and Liv Lewis.

In addition, Kenneth is survived by many family members who all hold such a special place in his heart. His heart was pure and he always saw good in everyone.  Kenneth also leaves a sister, Mary Ann Weaks, and brother, Larry Joe Coheley (Glenda).

Kenneth was preceded in death by his Mother, Louise Coheley, Father, Carl Coheley,  brothers and sisters, Bobby Coheley, Dorothy (George) Williams, Phillip Coheley, Wanda Elzey, and Brenda Howard.
