Labor Day Brings Large Number Of Visitors To Cherokee Rock Village Park

The Labor Day weekend brought a number of visitors to the Cherokee County area, in particular Cherokee Rock Village Park in Leesburg.

The Cherokee County Park Board told us that the crowd was the second largest ever. While most were enjoying a weekend of camping and the great outdoors, others brought their remote controlled ‘rock crawlers’ and parents brought their children to enjoy the new playground facility.

Visitors from all across the U.S. and other countries have traveled to Cherokee Rock Village to take advantage of its unique, spectacular features that can’t be found anywhere else.

The address is 2000 County Road 70 in Leesburg – phone (256) 927-7275
