Alabama added more than 2,000 COVID-19 cases from Saturday into Sunday.
The Alabama Department of Public Health data for Sunday, released at 10:00am showed an increase in coronavirus cases across the state of 2,170 – bringing that total to 345,628 since March 13th. The death toll rose by six to a total of 4,691.
As of Sunday, there were 2,470 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Alabama.
Meanwhile, in Cherokee County, according to the ADPH, we’ve seen a total of 1,369 cases of COVID-19 since March 13th – 942 confirmed; 427 listed as probable. Countywide we’ve had a total of 23 deaths, with 19 of those confirmed and 4 being listed as probable.
