Leesburg Mayor Brandy Pierce has informed WEIS Radio that motorists need to slow down and exercise caution when approaching the Leesburg Bridge traveling from Leesburg going toward Centre, as traffic is currently down to one lane on that side of the bridge.
The bridge is in the process of being painted by the Alabama Department of Transportation and no estimated time of completion has been given for the project.
