A Leesburg Police Officer was involved in a minor two-vehicle accident on Tuesday night, at the intersection of Weiss Lake Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard in Leesburg.
Under such circumstances, another law enforcement agency will typically handle the report and according to the Centre Police Department those vehicles included a 2016 Ford Taurus, which was the Leesburg Police Cruiser being driven by Officer Jamie Chatman of Gaylesville and a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 40 year old Centre resident Leah Eades. Fortunately, no one was hurt during that mishap – with only minor-to-moderate vehicle damage being sustained.
That accident took place at 10:18pm.
