Leesburg Police Investigators Recover Truck Reported Stolen Last Month

TheHulsey'sLeesburg Police have recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen in the Newberry Crossroads last month.

According to Leesburg Police Chief Lanny Ransum, on Wednesday and Thursday Leesburg Police Dept Investigators Brian Gilliland and Joe Johnson recovered a 1986 Chevrolet truck along with some chain saws and other items that were stolen at the same time.

On Wednesday Investigators Johnson and Gilliland stopped a car with no tag on Adrian Gwen when the passenger got out and ran through the trailer park down Lokey Street, following a brief foot chase, Officer Johnson apprehended the suspect identified as 31 year old Timothy Kip Hulsey .

Both he and his wife Jennifer also had warrants out of DeKalb County for Child Neglect and both were booked into Cherokee County Detention Center, additionally Kip Hulsey also had warrants on charges of dangerous drugs from another county.
