A Cherokee County woman narrowly escaped injury, as she was involved in a three-vehicle accident in DeKalb County on Thursday.
The wreck took place at 3:25pm on Highway 68, approximately five miles west of Crossville and it involved a 2011 Hyundai driven by 50 year old Leesburg resident Virginia Stevens, a 2013 Dodge driven by 41 year old Christy McCollum of Crossville, and a 1998 Pontiac being driven by 22 year old Justin Chadwick, also of Crossville.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report noted that McCollum and Chadwick were both hurt, but no details were listed.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
