Lindsay Lohan posts, then deletes video urging people to “stand up” for Harvey Weinstein

Getty Images/Eduardo Parra(DUBAI) — Lindsay Lohan came to the defense of Harvey Weinstein on Tuesday, insisting people need to “stand up” for the disgraced movie producer, amid allegations he sexually harassed multiple women over decades.

In a pair of Instagram videos obtained by E! Online, which have since been deleted, the Mean Girls star says, “I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now, I don’t think it’s right what’s going on.”

“I think Georgina needs to take a stand and be there for her husband,” she adds, referring to Weinstein’s wife Georgina Chapman, who announced on Tuesday that she was leaving her husband.

“He’s never harmed me or did anything to me — we’ve done several movies together,” the 31-year-old actress goes on to explain. “I think everyone needs to stop — I think it’s wrong. So stand up.”
