LIST OF CLOSINGS & DELAYS FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17th

Cherokee County Schools will be on a three hour delay

The Cherokee County Child Development Center will be opening at 9:00am unless the local schools decide to close for the day due to the weather

Shepherd’s Fold Daycare will open at 9:00am

Cherokee County Offices including the Courthouse and Administration Building will be on a two hour delay

Cedar Bluff Town Hall will be on a three hour delay

Cherokee County DHR will open two hours later than normal

American Apparel will open at 8:00am

All campuses and locations of Gadsden State Community College, including Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre – will delay opening until 11:00am

The Northeast Regional Tournaments in Jacksonville will be starting one hour late; that’s at 10:00am instead of the originally scheduled time of 9:00

Etowah County Schools will be on a two hour delay

DeKalb County Commission Offices, the DeKalb County Courthouse, and all DeKalb County Government Offices will be on a two hour delay

Ft Payne City Schools will delay opening until 11:00am – and school buses will be running approximately three-and-a-half hours later than normal; DeKalb County Schools, Northeast Alabama Community College, and Cornerstone Christian Academy in Rainsville, will also be opening at 11:00am

Chattooga County, Georgia Schools will be on a two hour delay

Floyd County, Georgia Schools will delay opening until 10:00am; Rome City Schools will be on a two hour delay and elementary school students should arrive by 10:00am with middle and high school students arriving by 10:30.
