Live like Walter White — legally — with the interactive ‘Breaking Bad’ Experience

Doug Hyun/AMC (NEW YORK) — El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is out today on Netflix, and if you that isn’t enough excitement for fans of the Emmy winning series, you can always live the life with the Breaking Bad Experience.

The pop-up bar, which opens on October 16, was created by the same folks who built the interactive experiences based on the Peach Pit from Beverly Hills, 90210, and the Saved by the Bell pop-up — and like those, it features callbacks to AMC’s series, which ended six years ago.

Set against a backdrop that features Jesse Pinkman and Walter White’s mobile meth lab RV, The Breaking Bad Experience — which is, for now, only in Los Angeles — features show-inspired food like Heisenberg Sliders, desserts, and “chemically reactive” cocktails that patrons mix themselves.

In a statement, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan said, “It’s exciting to be able to give the folks who supported the show for all these years the chance to experience Walt’s world firsthand.”

Fortunately, fans can do so without running afoul of the law, drug cartels, or meth-head neo-Nazis.
