Liza Parker

Funeral service for Liza Parker, 32, will be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville with Dr. Derek Staples, Rev. John Simmons and Rev. Ted Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 pm. Ms. Parker died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry Richard and Sandra Elaine Parker of Centre; her brother, Joshua Parker of Jacksonville; a sister-in-law, Karine Parker of Jacksonville; one niece, Jayde Parker and one nephew, Kyle Parker both of Jacksonville.

Pallbearers will be Devon Laney, Caleb Courtney, Jeremy Gilley, Andrew Pyles, Shane Noles, Lisa Greene and Michael Robison. Honorary pallbearers will be Christin Williams, Brandy Williams and Aimee Kirk.

Liza was a member of Eagle Point Church in Jacksonville. She was a licensed massage therapist and was fulfilling her bachelor’s degree in social work from JSU. In her spare time, Liza loved talking on the phone and listening to music and audio books. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vitus and Velma Pyles and Paul and Fannie Parker.
