Lola Faye Shropshire, age 76 of Centre, passed away Monday October 26th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday October 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Douglas officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Shelby Shropshire of Centre; daughters, Joyce Huffman of Coosa, Ga., Nancy Espy of Attalla and Teresa Abernathy of Sand Rock; brother, James Robert “Bob” Bishop; also 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shropshire was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Jim and Dora Kirby Bishop and a member of Weiss Lake Church.
