A Louisiana woman was hurt in a single-vehicle wreck in DeKalb County on Christmas Eve.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that accident occurred on I-59 just outside of Ft Payne, and involved a 2018 BMW being driven by 47 year old Billy Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Williams was unhurt however a passenger in the vehicle 77 year old Julia Carlson also from Shreveport, was listed as being injured in the mishap, although no additional information is noted in the report other than the fact that she was wearing her seat belt at the time.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation.
