Mac Computer-Scented Candle Sells Out in One Day

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Twelve South, a company that designs accessories exclusively for Apple products, such as monitor stands, iPhone and iPad cases and charging stations, has just introduced a scented candle to its store that it claims smells like a new Macintosh computer.

Though it’s unlikely to appeal to PC users, the New Mac Candle is described as, “Hand-poured in Charleston, South Carolina and made from 100 percent Soy Wax with scent notes of mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin and sage.” The candle has a burn time of 45-55 hours and retails for $24.

According to Ad Week, the candle sold out in a day.

Andrew Green, co-founder of Twelve South, told Ad Week, “I can’t imagine a better gift for a Mac lover for the holidays. It’s an idea that’s clearly struck a nerve, so we’ll make more.”
