Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin has issued a news release regarding the arrest of a 42 year old Albertville man charged with Traveling to Meet a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Interference with Custody – both felonies.
David Lee Stephens allegedly picked up a 15 year old female and took her to a residence for the purpose of committing a sex act.
Stephens is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail on an unrelated charge and will later be transferred to the Etowah County Detention Center where he will be held on a cash bond of $50,000.
