According to Floyd County jail records, a Rockmart man is currently facing charges of Human Trafficking, Criminal Attempt to Commit Child Molestation – and also Using a Computer to Entice a Child. Devonte Rene Watkins, age 28, was booked into jail Saturday, after having contacted someone he believed to be under the age of 16 on-line – and allegedly offering to pay for sex acts.
The investigation into the matter is on-going.
