A resident of Arab is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail on a charge of murder, in connection with the slaying of an Albertville man last weekend.
Michael Barnes stands accused of shooting and killing 22 year old Clint Bailey, at a home on Taylor Street, around 3:00am Sunday.
Albertville Police say they’ve yet to determine a motive for the shooting and are attempting to locate any witnesses to the incident.
Barnes is being held on bond of $100,000. If found guilty, he could face up to life in prison.
