A 51 year old Rome man has been sentenced to life in prison with 25 years to serve on the charges of Aggravated Child Molestation and Aggravated Sodomy.
A Floyd County Superior Court jury found Barry Curtis Hardigree guilty on those charges in connection with incidents dating back to 2011; he was also sentenced to 25 years on Child Molestation charges, to run concurrently.
Hardigree was additionally convicted of Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats & Acts and Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree after he used a baseball bat to break out windows in a truck used to block his vehicle in, as police were on the way to serve warrants on him.
