On Monday, 74 year old Jimmy Maurice Kilpatrick entered a guilty plea in Marshall County to charges of the Sexual Abuse of a Child under the Age of 12.
He was sentenced to serve a ten year day-for-day stretch in the state prison system.
Prosecutors say Kilpatrick sexually abused four girls under the age of 12 with the incidents taking place in Boaz and dating back as far as 2008. The victims are now between the ages of 9 and 17.
The abuse came to light when one of the victims disclosed information to a family member
