One Cedartown, Georgia resident accused of being a thief – and who apparently lives by the motto of “Go Big OR Go Home” – was booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday on charges of theft by taking, theft by taking a motor vehicle, theft by deception and criminal trespass.
According to jail records, 43 year old Daniel Clay Hulsey went onto another man’s property on Rockmart Highway, took a battery from one vehicle and then placed it in a dump truck that he was stealing.
To top it off, the dump truck had 2,400 pounds of scrap metal in it.
Hulsey allegedly later sold the metal to a scrap yard for just over $1,500.
The alleged incident actually back occurred on August 8th of this year.
Hulsey’s new motto may very well be “Go Big – Go to Jail.”
