Marginal Risk For Severe Storms Across Northeast Alabama

There is a level 2 out of 5 risk (slight) for northwest Central Alabama, with a level 1 out of 5 risk (marginal) elsewhere.

A batch of storms is expected to form west of Alabama and encounter an environment that will support a risk of a few tornadoes, damaging straight-line winds, and hail up to quarter size. The line of storms should begin to weaken as it approaches the southeast portions of Central Alabama early Tuesday morning.

Be sure to have multiple ways to receive weather information and warnings. Have an action/sheltering plan ready to go should severe storms threaten your neighborhood.
