Marshall County Authorities Investigating A Stabbing Incident And Home Invasion/UPDATED

Marshall County Deputies responded to a home invasion on Pleasant Grove Rd. on Thursday morning.

The home owner confronted the offender when he entered the residence and a fight ensued resulting in both men receiving stab wounds. The offender, Nicholas Lee Goble of Guntersville was still present when Deputies arrived.

Both men were flown to the Huntsville Hospital and treated for their injuries.

Goble was later released and brought to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st  and is being held on a $90,000.00 bond.

At this time the victim remains in the Huntsville Hospital in stable condition.
