An event eagerly anticipated every year by hundreds of people from across north Alabama, and much of north Georgia, is coming up Saturday in the McCord’s Crossroads community.

It’s the 4th Annual Community Celebration honoring Veterans and members of the Military.

Keith Baldwin of American Auctioneers, along with three ladies of the McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club – Judy Hopper, Edna Jo Jennings and Karen Bobo, paid a visit to the WEIS Radio studios Thursday morning, to talk about that big family-oriented event:

That event will feature food, entertainment, games, a car and tractor show and much more. 

The celebration is sponsored by the McCords Crossroads Homemakers Club in conjunction with American Auctioneers, with proceeds going toward the restoration of the 100 year old Hopewell Church Building which will become the Hopewell Community Center.
