The McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club will host a turkey shoot and Brunswick Stew sale on Saturday, November 16, at 9 a.m. at The Hopewell Community Center at McCord’s Crossroads, 7290 County Road 16, Centre. Shells for the turkey shoot will be supplied for 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge guns.
All proceeds benefit the continuing improvements at the Hopewell building.
A free pot luck lunch will be provided by the homemakers club for participants following the turkey shoot.
Also, Brunswick stew will be available for sale at $25 per gallon or $15 per half gallon.
