DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris would like to remind everyone this summer to stay “Sex Offender Aware”.

At this time there are 166 registered Adult and Juvenile Sex Offenders monitored by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

The Ft Payne Police Department monitors several in their city limits.

Please educate your children to watch out for strangers in your community – and – on the safety measures that they should take. If you have any questions regarding any convicted sex offender or sex offender regulation – feel free to contact the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at (256) 845-3801.
