Michael Lawrence Alkire, age 75 of Centre, passed away Thursday, September 3rd at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2:PM Sunday, September 6th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Sunday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Timothy Alkire, Scott Hanks, Tory Perry, Clay Itson, Kenny Wiggly, James Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Betty McKerley Alkire; sons, Timothy (Connie) Alkire of Ohio, Mark Alkire of Ohio and Scott (Melissa) Hanks of Sand Rock; daughter, Tammy (Tory) Hanks of Ft. Payne; brother, Patrick Alkire of Ohio; sisters, Sarah (Ray) Kaiser of Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Sandy Bush, Carol Everitt and Joyce Campbell.
Mr. Alkire was a native of Ohio, the son of the late Dewey and Jessie Josephine Hart Alkire and was of the Baptist faith.
