ROGERS: U.S. AND ALLIES MUST STAND STRONG AGAINST CCP

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (R-AL), Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, released the following statement advocating for a strong U.S. military as the Chinese Communist Party marks their 100th anniversary.

“We are at a critical point in the history of the free world – the spread of communism threatens freedom and democracy. America cannot cede our military superiority to the Chinese Communist Party, which means we must not play politics with our military funding. We have watched as the CCP has exponentially increased their defense spending and bullied their way around the globe with their Belt and Road Initiative.

The United States and our allies must stand strong on the world stage against the CCP.”
