One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 9 – just outside of Cedar Bluff – at around 7:00 Wednesday evening.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed the vehicles as – a 2007 Chevy HHR, driven by 43 year old Jeri Littlejohn of Cedar Bluff, and a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that was being driven by Tonya Spurgeon, age 36, also of Cedar Bluff.
According to information listed on the report Spurgeon was transported to an area hospital for treatment – while Littlejohn, who appeared to have been only shaken up – was treated at the scene.
Those responding included the Cedar Bluff Police and Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS and Alabama State Troopers.
The wreck, which occurred about two miles north of Cedar Bluff at the intersection of 9 and County Road 691, remains under investigation.
