There was a minor two-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a passenger car Thursday morning in Centre. The mishap took place at approximately 8:50am, at the red light at the intersection of the Chesnut Bypass and Cedar Bluff Road, with the car receiving damage to the front end and passenger side front fender.
Centre Police and Fire units responded to the scene. That accident closed one lane of traffic for a short period of time – fortunately, it appears no one was hurt.
