The Cherokee County Board of Education held a Special Called meeting back on January 25 for the sole purpose of approving Personnel Action.

According to the personnel action sheet we obtained from the school board the only item approved was the termination of Piper Pearce, Countywide Nurse housed at Centre Middle School effective immediately.

There was no other action taken by the board. The next regular meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Education will be Tuesday, February 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Office in Centre.

Those meetings are as always open to the public.
