A Moss Pointe, Mississippi man is facing a number of charges in DeKalb County.

On February 27th the Ft Payne Police Department received reports that a man was stealing gasoline from vehicles in the parking lot of a local business.

They were given a description of the subject and the car he was in.

Sheriff’s Office Deputy Van Douglas spotted the vehicle moments later and notified police – at which point, the man was pulled over.

Investigators responding to the scene quickly determined that several pieces of equipment found inside the vehicle had been stolen.

39 year old Donald Eugene Pierce was taken into custody and charged with three counts of Unlawful Breaking & Entering a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree.

The arrest also cleared up cases in Moss Pointe, Mississippi after it was discovered that the items found in the vehicle had been stolen from the Moss Pointe Public Works Department.
