A mobile home fire on Thursday brought out several area fire departments – that blaze was in the 4000 block of Highway 27 in the Gore Community of Chattooga County, at the foot of Taylor’s Ridge.
The Gore, Subligna, Summerville and Hays State Prison Fire Departments responded to the scene. Smoke and flames could be seen coming from the roof of the mobile home. The fire slowed traffic on Highway 27 between 1:00 and 5:00pm.
No word as to the cause of the fire at this time.
