Motorcyclist Arrested After Fleeing Georgia State Trooper At Speeds Of Over 120 Miles Per Hour

A motorcyclist is accused of fleeing from a traffic stop at speeds of over 120 miles per hour Tuesday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, a Georgia State Trooper attempted to stop 27-year old Joshua Nathaniel Danford of a Gaines Road address in Rome for running the red light at Highway 411 and the connector.

Danford took off and after driving through private property he fell off the motorcycle and then fled on foot.

He was captured after a short foot pursuit.

He is charged with a felony count of fleeing or attempting to elude, speeding, reckless driving, DUI, driving without a license, operation of a vehicle without a valid decal on the license plate, running a red light and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.
