The Cherokee County Highway Department will be completing a number of resurfacing projects throughout the spring.
Due to the nature of the projects the public may experience loose gravel – and some slight travel delays – in those construction areas, which will include:
County Road 15 from County Road 259 to the Alabama/Georgia state line;
County Road 29 from County Road 12 north to U.S. 411;
County Road 147 from County Road 44 to State Road 273;
County Road 69 from County Road 118 to County Road 487;
And
County Road 31 from U.S. 411 to County Road 16.
Motorists are urged to slow down and exercise caution in areas where work is being done.
