Mozeta Haynie Anthony, 85, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Noah Baptist Church in Centre, AL.

Born on July 12, 1933, in Cedar Bluff, AL she was the daughter of the late John William and Lena Pruitt Pierce. Mrs. Anthony was retired from Image Carpets where she was an inspector. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anthony is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Anthony and sister, Bobbie Wyatt.

Mrs. Anthony is survived by her brothers, Hoke Pierce of Hampton, GA, Euell Pierce of Rome, GA; son, Bruce Anthony of Warrior, AL; daughter and son in law, Carolyn and Ken Roberts of Gainesville; grandchildren, Eric Roberts of Decatur, GA, Kristen Roberts Enfinger of Greenville, SC, Ashley Anthony of Odenville, AL; great grandchildren, Kennedy, Camden, Benton and Lincoln and a number of other relatives.
