Mr. Ben Henderson age 87 of Centre passed away Wednesday December 23rd at Cherokee Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday December 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Elrod and Freddie Reynolds officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Joe (Verna Kay) Henderson of Gadsden, David (Glenda) Henderson of Gaylesville and Frankie (Belinda) Henderson of Centre; daughter, Kathy (Leonard Green) Henderson of Centre; 9 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Mae Weatherby Henderson, 10 siblings and 1 grandchild.
Mr. Henderson was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Nathan and Mary Etta Wilson Henderson and a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church.
