Mr. Benny Dewayne Parker, age 54 of Sand Rock, passed away Friday, January 10th at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, January 13th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ethan Parker and Rev. Ted Elrod officiating; burial will follow in Welcome Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Sunday.

Pallbearers include Kenneth Hanks, Frankie McDaniel, Greg Parker, Timothy Barnes, Justin Barnes, Joe Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Barnes Parker; sons, Benjamin (Brittany) Parker of Sand Rock, Jesse (Krista) Parker of Fort Payne; mother, Nellie Faye Parker; brothers, Kenny Parker of Sand Rock, Elbert Parker, Jr. of Sand Rock, Ronald Parker of Sand Rock, Terry Parker of Centre, Mickey Parker of GA.; sisters, Rita Garrett of Centre, Kathy Wadsworth of Sand Rock, Angie Bennett of Sand Rock; grandson, Isaac Parker; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chelsea Parker and brother, Donnie Parker.

Mr. Parker was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Elbert Parker, Sr.
