Mr. Billy Earl Vines, 69 of Leesburg, passed away Monday June 2nd 2014 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday June 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John Mullaney officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh- Bothwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers include: Dexter Vines, Mason Rodgers, Cooper Rodgers.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sadie Vines; daughters, Kathy (Steve) Rodgers of Centre & Cindy Parker (Keith Rutledge) of Leesburg; brother, Wayne Vines of Centre; sister, Betty Sue Lapiere of Piedmont; Grandchildren, Dexter Vines, Magan Parker, Mason Rodgers & Cooper Rodgers; Great-granddaughter, Julia Vines.
Mr. Vines was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Ervin Lee & Eula Lee Ragan Vines and was a Methodist by faith. He worked at Inland Container over 40 years and served in the National Guard for 13 years.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shiloh-Bothwell Cemetery fund.
